Designing operational
workflows where
errors are expensive

Public examples are illustrative, not exact production workflows. Contact me to discuss an anonymized walkthrough without internal data.

Internal UX is product UX—with more states, more rules and less room for ambiguity.
The work focused on making operational status, required actions and exceptions easier to interpret in complex forms, tables and review flows. Public examples are simplified and do not represent a complete production workflow.
Make current status, required action and blocking information explicit.
Make review steps and required confirmations explicit within the workflow.
Specify pending, partial, returned and exception states where relevant.
Reuse shared components and patterns instead of creating one-off admin UI.
